Conventional thin client terminals have the following problems.

1. not extensible. 2. not responsive because of the narrow bandwidth between the server and the clients. 3. server load is very high because all processings are taken place in the server. |
Kokolink proposes the following new client model which has the following advantages/features

1. By equipping HDD, the execution of various kinds of applications becomes possible. 2. By employing rich/fat applications, low server load and high responsiveness are achieved. 3. Adoption of High scalability and cost performance Linux system. |
Data is stored in the server. Users do not have the permission to perform write operations on the HDD which is exclusively accessed by OS and applications only.
